Nowruz – A Celebration of Spring, Memory & Hope

Nowruz – A Celebration of Spring, Memory & Hope

Saturday, March 21 | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM in person and online!
Led by KSAM residence:  Ramona, Duygu, and Friends

Nowruz, the Persian New Year, symbolizes the rebirth of life. It is also the spring equinox and marks the beginning of spring. This year, we gather in a Circle of Presence to celebrate the light of spring while holding the weight of remembrance for the lives lost in Iran. Through traditional Zikr, Persian melodies, and shared stories, we transform "dancing grief" into collective dignity and resistance.
in person: The Mentorgarten 410 Precita Ave. San Francisco Online: Email for the Zoom link: khankahsam101@gmail.com
