Sufi Beach Walk every Thursday, 11:00a.m.  (Rain or Shine)  Starts at Stairwell #1, first flight of stairs down from the Cliff House along The Great Highway.  Those with mobility issues sit and enjoy each others' company at the closest bench to the stairs.

Bring water, extra layers of clothing, sandwiches or snacks.  Lots of parking available along the Great Highway.  If you are approaching the walk via Fulton St., make a right onto The Great Highway and turn left onto the parking lot facing Ocean Beach - head North a bit and park.  Do not leave any valuables in the car.  There's a Safeway and Sandwich Shops nearby.

Around 11:15a.m., we walk down to the beach and head over to the wet sands along the shore of our beautiful, Blue Pacific.  Sometimes we walk South and when the tide is low, we head North.  Bring water, xtra layers of clothing, lightweight musical instruments, songs, Universal Dances of Peace, Zikrs and we welcome improv in all its forms; i.e., sand art, dance and all offerings that flow through us.  Some of us have to head back to our jobs while others can stay longer.  You call the shots based on your schedule.  We are grateful to our Grandparents, Joe and Guin Miller, who started this walk back in the late 70s in Golden Gate Park.  They ended the walk at Ocean Beach and that's where we begin and cap it off with "May all Beings be Well - May all Beings be Happy - Peace, Peace, Peace."  Alhamdulilah!
